Your privacy matters deeply to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information under applicable international data protection standards and Vietnam Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP.
VoicEternity ("we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered voice journaling platform designed to help founders, builders, and general users record, reflect on, and preserve their personal journey and life story. The service is operated as an independent product.
Under applicable data privacy regulations (including Vietnam's Decree 13/2023/NĐ-CP on Personal Data Protection), audio recordings containing your voice, voice biometrics, personal thoughts, emotional reflections, and family history are classified as Sensitive Personal Data. By using VoicEternity, you explicitly authorize us to collect, transcribe, and process this data strictly for providing our core journaling and AI insights features.
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google's OAuth service. We store this to identify your account and personalize your experience.
Audio recordings you create are uploaded and stored securely in Supabase Storage (a PostgreSQL-based cloud platform). Text transcriptions, AI-generated insights, summaries, and biographical narratives derived from your entries are also stored in our database.
Payments are processed manually via bank transfer or PayPal. We do not process or store your credit card number or full payment details directly on our platform. Payment verification is handled securely by your respective bank or PayPal.

Note on OpenAI:Your audio and text are sent to OpenAI for transcription and analysis. OpenAI's API data is used to provide your results and is not retained by OpenAI for model training (per their API data usage policy as of 2024).
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. After your trial or subscription ends, your existing journal entries remain readable (read-only access) so you never lose your story.
If you delete your account, all your data (profile, journal entries, audio files, AI-generated content) will be permanently deleted within 30 days. This action is irreversible.

We use industry-standard security practices: all data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest (Supabase's AES-256 encryption). Access to your journal data is protected by Row-Level Security policies — only you can access your own entries. We never expose your data to other users.
We use only essential cookies required for authentication (Supabase session cookies). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
VoicEternity is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect.
